I’m Lou…….
Hello!I’m a Women’s Well-Being Guide and EFT Tapping Practitioner. I support women through life’s transitions with gentle, grounded spaces that invite calm, connection and a return to self. My work is rooted in lived experience, deep compassion, and a belief that healing doesn’t have to be forceful to be powerful.
For as long as I can remember, I have found solace in nature. The sea, the rhythm of my breath, and the quiet return to myself through yoga have all been anchors for me over the years. I began attending yoga classes at 21, around the time I left the UK to move abroad, and those practices became small but steady threads I could return to through the many seasons of life.
Like so many women, I know what it feels like to get caught in the busyness and demands of everyday life - working, mothering, caring, coping, and trying to hold everything together.
When my daughter became seriously ill, life shifted in ways I could never have imagined. I found myself living in a near-constant state of stress and exhaustion - sleep deprived, emotionally stretched, financially uncertain, and carrying the relentless weight of advocating, questioning, fearing, and trying to stay strong. Over time, this took a deep toll on my body and mind. I experienced hyper-vigilance, chronic fatigue and debilitating panic attacks, and eventually became unable to drive.
I was later diagnosed with PTSD, and that chapter of my life profoundly shaped my understanding of what it means to live in survival mode. Alongside this, I was also navigating the many layers of womanhood that so often go unseen and unsupported, motherhood, chronic stress, identity shifts, and the changing rhythms of midlife and peri-menopause.
It was during this chapter, while attending a beautiful retreat, that I first discovered EFT tapping. Two months later, I was training as a practitioner!
Tapping became a lifeline for me. It helped me begin to feel safe in my body again, and it has remained a deeply important part of my healing journey ever since. My Story…..
Over the years, I have developed a way of working that feels true to me - one that honours not only the mind and body, but also the deeper, often forgotten parts of who we are. Alongside tapping, I gently weave in elements such as breath, meditation, sound, scent, ritual, creativity and intuitive practices to help women reconnect with their inner wisdom, reclaim their magic, and move towards a life that feels more authentic, purposeful and alive.
Creativity has always been part of who I am. Crafting, making, and creating have long felt like medicine to me, and I knew I wanted that to have a place in my work too. Even in some of the darkest moments of my life, I found myself longing for beauty, ritual, connection and meaningful expression. That is why mindfulness, intuition, creativity and gentle joy are woven into the spaces I hold.
During those years of uncertainty, I also found myself craving community more than ever. My world had become much smaller, and I deeply missed the well-being and community events I had once travelled to attend. I realised I didn’t just need healing - I needed sisterhood. I needed spaces where women could come together, support one another, respect one another, cheer each other on, and be held with compassion and love.
And so, my women’s circles were born.
It took courage to host the first one, but I knew how needed these spaces were, because I had needed them too. I wanted to bring women’s circles closer to home, creating gatherings that felt nourishing, safe and real. I’ve also had the joy of collaborating with a dear friend in co-hosting women’s retreats and sound baths, which has only deepened my belief in the power of women gathering together with intention, warmth and encouragement.
Alongside my work, I’m a wife, a mother to two beautiful daughters, and someone who feels most at home by the sea, watching a sunrise or sunset, or doing anything that brings me back to my body and breath - SUP, music, yoga, Pilates, sauna and cold plunge, hiking and tending to my plant babies all have a special place in my heart. I’m also a lover of fireside chats, tree hugging! books, music, candlelight, baking, crafting, and the small rituals that make life feel meaningful and magical.
Today, everything I offer is rooted in lived experience, deep compassion, and a genuine desire to help women find their way back to themselves.
Whether through one-to-one sessions, workshops or women’s circles, my intention is always the same: to create spaces where women feel seen, safe, supported, and gently invited to remember their authentic self.
